Dr. Berry Odhiambo

Dr. Berry Odhiambo

CFO and Co-Founder

Dr. Berry Odhiambo serves his role as CFO and co-founder of InNova Global Fund, which aims to provide affordable and accessible credit to low-income borrowers in Kenya.

With a passion for financial inclusion and poverty alleviation, Dr. Odhiambo co-founded InNova Global Fund to address the financial needs of underserved populations in Kenya. The company leverages peer-to-peer microlending technology to provide credit to small and medium-sized enterprises, with a focus on women-owned businesses.

Dr. Odhiambo has also been involved in several other entrepreneurial ventures, including the co-founding of Open Valley Investments, a digital platform for microfinance institutions, and the establishment of AFRESA , a credit union enterprise that provides financing and capacity-building services to individuals and businesses.

As co-founder of InNova Global Fund, Dr. Odhiambo is committed to improving financial access and empowering communities in Kenya. Odhiambo serves on the board for Give A Hand Charity focused on economic development and poverty reduction.  He currently resides in Fresno, CA with additional offices in Nairobi & Kisumu, Kenya.

Micah Asay

Micah Asay

Chief Executive Officer

Micah Asay brings extensive executive experience and a global perspective to his role as Chief Executive Officer of InNova Global Fund LLC. Based in Clovis, California, Micah is also the CEO of Positiviti, where he has spearheaded numerous impact-driven financial inclusion initiatives across emerging markets with partners in Kenya. With a deep understanding of the systemic challenges facing underserved communities, Micah is passionate about harnessing private capital to create sustainable, scalable solutions for global development.

Prior to Positiviti, Micah held senior leadership roles in the healthcare sector, where he refined his expertise in strategic planning, operational management, and risk oversight. These experiences formed the foundation of his mission-driven leadership style and contributed to his holistic understanding of both enterprise operations and regulatory landscapes. Through BYU-Idaho, Micah obtained his background in healthcare management where he has developed a unique ability to bridge business acumen with social impact.

At InNova, he is responsible for overseeing the Fund's strategic direction, fund administration, and institutional and partner engagement. Under his leadership, InNova Global Fund operates as a trusted vehicle for connecting accredited investors with high-impact microfinance initiatives in Kenya and with plans to expand to other emerging economies. His long-term vision is to transform global microlending by building a transparent, technology-enabled ecosystem that prioritizes both measurable impact and investor confidence.

Rudolfo Beltran

Rudolfo Beltran

Vice President Head of Capital Acquisition

Rudolfo Beltran serves as Vice President and Head of Capital Acquisition, Marketing & CRM for InNova Global Fund, overseeing capital strategy, investor relations, and marketing operations across offices in Fresno, CA, as well as Nairobi and Kisumu, Kenya. Since joining the organization in 2022, Beltran has successfully raised over $75 million in capital to support high-impact microfinance initiatives in emerging markets.

Under Beltran's leadership, InNova Global Fund has expanded its investor base and developed innovative strategies to connect impact-focused investors with opportunities in Kenya's dynamic micro-lending sector. His expertise in capital acquisition, digital marketing, and CRM systems has been instrumental in scaling the fund's reach and establishing dual investment pathways for both accredited and retail investors.

Beltran brings over 30 years of senior marketing and brand development experience to his role. Prior to joining InNova Global Fund, he served as Senior Director of Marketing at Anheuser-Busch, where he was responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies for iconic brands including Budweiser, Bud Light, Michelob Ultra, and Stella Artois. At Anheuser-Busch, he led cross-functional teams and worked closely with sales, research and development, and finance departments to ensure marketing initiatives aligned with business objectives. His expertise in brand development, customer engagement, and market analysis consistently drove growth and profitability.

Beltran also gained valuable experience at Cardenas Marketing Network, an experiential marketing firm and touring production company, where he developed and executed creative campaigns for clients across various industries. His work focused on driving brand awareness and customer engagement through innovative experiential marketing strategies.

Known for his ability to think both creatively and strategically, Beltran combines his extensive marketing background with a passion for impact investing and financial inclusion. His approach to capital acquisition emphasizes building meaningful relationships with investors while clearly communicating the dual benefits of competitive returns and measurable social impact in emerging markets.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Beltran is actively involved in various community organizations and serves as a mentor to aspiring marketing and finance professionals. His commitment to education and community development aligns closely with InNova Global Fund's mission of empowering underserved communities through access to capital and economic opportunity.

Beltran's leadership continues to drive InNova Global Fund's growth and its mission to democratize access to impact investing while supporting entrepreneurship and financial inclusion in Kenya and other developing regions.

Naomi Hernandez

Naomi Hernandez

Director of Operations

Naomi Hernandez serves as Director of Operations for InNova Global Fund LLC, where she plays a pivotal role in fund management, partner communications, and operational efficiency. With over 25 years of experience in banking and financial services, Naomi has established herself as a seasoned leader capable of navigating both institutional strategy and grassroots execution. Her professional background includes key roles at First California Federal Credit Union, BBVA, and Tri Counties Bank, as well as experience within the construction finance sector.

Over the course of her career, she has consistently delivered results in sales growth, marketing execution, and technology integration. Naomi is widely known for her passion for building high-functioning teams and systems that support both client success and internal accountability. Outside of her professional career, Naomi has demonstrated a long-standing commitment to civic engagement, having served on the board of the Fresno Area Hispanic Foundation for six years. She is also deeply involved in her children’s education, having served on school site councils and championed dual-language immersion programs. A mother of four and an accomplished professional, Naomi balances her leadership responsibilities with interests in fitness, home renovation, and community volunteering.

At InNova, she helps drive the Company’s partner onboarding process, CRM coordination, and compliance with investor communication protocols, making her a critical asset to both the executive team and the Company’s global stakeholders.

Fernando Peña

Fernando Peña

Secretary and Co-Director of Operations 

Fernando Peña Echeagaray serves as Secretary and Co-Director of Operations for InNova Global Fund LLC. A graduate of California State University, Fresno, Fernando brings over eight years of experience in business administration, logistics, and operational performance.

In his dual role at InNova and its affiliated entity, Positiviti, he is tasked with improving operational workflows, regulatory coordination, and internal compliance across the Company’s expanding global footprint. Fernando’s background includes strategic board-level service, including six years on the board of Pamana Funeral Expense Benefit, where he provided organizational oversight and governance. His strengths lie in implementing systems that enhance accountability, optimize performance, and support scalable expansion.

At InNova, Fernando works in close partnership with the CEO and other executive team members to ensure seamless coordination between domestic and international stakeholders, particularly as the Company deepens its partnerships in Kenya and/or elsewhere in Africa and beyond. His cross-cultural fluency and operational discipline make him a key driver in advancing the Company’s mission of financial inclusion and community resilience. Widely respected for his attention to detail and commitment to excellence, Fernando is an integral part of the leadership team guiding InNova’s day-to-day operations and long-term infrastructure development.

Dan Smith

Dan Smith

Director of CRM Systems

Dan Smith serves as Director of CRM Systems at InNova Global Fund LLC, where he is responsible for managing investor data, technology integration, and digital workflow efficiency. With a technical skillset rooted in systems administration and data-driven project management, Dan oversees the development and maintenance of InNova’s CRM infrastructure, which supports investor onboarding, transaction tracking, and regulatory reporting. His focus includes integrating best-in-class tools and technologies that enhance security, transparency, and operational scalability—core values of InNova’s investment platform.

Dan plays a key role in aligning IT operations with business development efforts, ensuring that the Company’s backend systems can support its global expansion and growing investor base. Working closely with the executive team, Dan also contributes to strategic discussions surrounding digital identity verification, data privacy compliance (including AML/KYC protocols), and API integrations with third-party lending platforms. His work is vital to maintaining InNova’s commitment to institutional-grade technology and investor confidence in all Fund operations.

Sonia Corona

Office Manager

Sonia Corona is the Office Manager at InNova Global Fund LLC, bringing over eight years of administrative, customer service, and operational experience to her role. Having advanced from a frontline customer service position to now overseeing office-wide functions, Sonia exemplifies both professional growth and leadership. She is responsible for managing the daily logistics of InNova’s domestic operations, including internal team coordination, vendor relationships, scheduling, and administrative compliance. Known for her reliability, warm interpersonal skills, and collaborative leadership style, Sonia helps maintain a professional and efficient work environment that supports both team morale and client satisfaction. She is especially valued for her ability to communicate across departments and ensure seamless information flow between executive leadership, investors, and field partners.

Outside the office, Sonia is a devoted mother of three and appreciates the work-life flexibility that allows her to balance family responsibilities with her professional aspirations. Her personal dedication and professional discipline make her an indispensable member of the InNova leadership team, supporting the Company’s mission to transform lives through ethical finance.
